  • 4 whole artichokes trimmed and cleaned
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 lemon lemon cut into wedges

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Trim the tops of the artichokes and remove the tough outer leaves.
  3. Cut the artichokes in half and remove the choke with a spoon.
  4. Place the artichokes in a baking dish, drizzle with olive oil, and season with salt, pepper, and minced garlic.
  5. Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 35-45 minutes, until the artichokes are tender.
  6. Serve with lemon wedges on the side.
