- 1 bunch spring onions trimmed and cleaned
- 4 tablespoon butter
- 1 cup chicken broth
- to taste salt
- to taste black pepper freshly ground
1. Trim and clean the spring onions.
2. In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
3. Add the spring onions and cook for about 5 minutes, turning occasionally, until they start to soften.
4. Pour in the chicken broth, season with salt and pepper, and bring to a simmer.
5. Cover and cook for another 15 minutes, or until the onions are tender and the broth has reduced.
6. Serve warm.
