- 2 cups Orange or Lemon Peel cut into strips
- 1 cup Sugar
- 1 cup Water
Boil the peels in water for 15 minutes. Drain and repeat twice.
In a saucepan, combine 1 cup of water and 1 cup of sugar. Bring to a boil.
Add the peels and simmer for 45 minutes until translucent.
Remove peels and let them dry on a cooling rack.
