Ingredients

  • 1 large celery root peeled and chopped
  • 2 cups water
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoon butter
  • to taste salt
  • to taste pepper

Instructions 

  1. 1. Peel and chop the celery root into small pieces.
  2. 2. In a pot, bring water to a boil and add the chopped celery root. Cook until tender, about 20 minutes.
  3. 3. Drain the celery root and transfer to a blender. Add heavy cream, butter, salt, and pepper.
  4. 4. Blend until smooth and creamy. Adjust seasoning if necessary.
  5. 5. Serve warm as a side dish.
