Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 2 medium Chayote peeled and diced
  • 1 lb Yuca root peeled and diced
  • 1 medium Onion chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 4 cups Chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon Salt to taste
  • ½ teaspoon Black pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoon Olive oil

Instructions 

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add chopped onion and minced garlic. Sauté until fragrant.
  3. Add diced chayote and yuca root. Stir well.
  4. Pour in chicken broth. Bring to a boil.
  5. Reduce heat and simmer for 30-35 minutes, until vegetables are tender.
  6. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Serve hot.
