Chayote And Yuca Root Soup
A hearty and nutritious soup made with chayote and yuca root.

Main Ingredients
- 2 medium Chayote peeled and diced
- 1 lb Yuca root peeled and diced
- 1 medium Onion chopped
- 2 cloves Garlic minced
- 4 cups Chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon Salt to taste
- ½ teaspoon Black pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoon Olive oil
Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
Add chopped onion and minced garlic. Sauté until fragrant.
Add diced chayote and yuca root. Stir well.
Pour in chicken broth. Bring to a boil.
Reduce heat and simmer for 30-35 minutes, until vegetables are tender.
Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Serve hot.
