Main Ingredients
- 2 chayotes, peeled and julienned
- 1 carrot, julienned
- ½ cup red onion, thinly sliced
- ¼ cup cilantro, chopped
- 2 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the julienned chayotes, carrot, and sliced red onion.
2. Add the chopped cilantro, olive oil, lime juice, salt, and black pepper to the bowl.
3. Toss everything together until well combined.
4. Serve immediately or chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes before serving for a colder salad.
