Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup Lentils cooked
  • 1 cup Tomato sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 1 small Onion diced
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon Chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon Maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon Smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 4 buns Burger buns

Instructions 

  1. 1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. 2. Add diced onion and cook until translucent, about 5 minutes.
  3. 3. Add minced garlic and cook for another minute.
  4. 4. Stir in cooked lentils, tomato sauce, chili powder, maple syrup, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  5. 5. Simmer for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the mixture thickens.
  6. 6. Serve the mixture on burger buns.
