Fresh Pasta with Tomato and Basil Sauce
A simple and delicious fresh pasta recipe with a classic tomato and basil sauce.

Pasta
- 2 cups All-purpose flour
- 3 units Large eggs
- 1 tablespoon Olive oil
Sauce
- 2 tablespoon Olive oil
- 3 cloves Garlic, minced
- 4 cups Tomatoes, chopped
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 cup Fresh basil leaves, chopped
1. In a mixing bowl, combine flour and eggs. Mix until a dough forms. Knead for 10 minutes, then let rest for 30 minutes.
2. Roll out the dough using a pasta maker or rolling pin. Cut into desired shapes.
3. In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Cook pasta for 2-3 minutes or until al dente. Drain and set aside.
4. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic and cook until fragrant.
5. Add tomatoes and salt. Simmer for 15 minutes.
6. Stir in fresh basil. Toss the sauce with the cooked pasta.
