Main Ingredients
- 2 cups milk (dairy or non-dairy)
- 1 tablespoon fresh turmeric, grated
- 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
- 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup optional
- 1 pinch black pepper
- 1 pinch cinnamon
1. In a saucepan, combine milk, fresh turmeric, fresh ginger, black pepper, and cinnamon.
2. Heat the mixture over medium heat until it starts to simmer. Do not let it boil.
3. Reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
4. Strain the mixture into cups.
5. Add honey or maple syrup if desired. Serve warm.
