Ingredients 

Crust

  • 1 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup granulated sugar

Filling

  • 1 ½ cups granulated sugar
  • ¼ cup all-purpose flour
  • 4 large eggs
  • ½ cup fresh lemon juice
  • ½ cup fresh grapefruit juice
  • 1 tablespoon grapefruit zest

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine melted butter, 2 cups of flour, and ½ cup of sugar. Press the mixture into the prepared baking dish.
  3. Bake the crust for 15-20 minutes, or until lightly golden. Remove from oven and set aside.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together 1 ½ cups of sugar and ¼ cup of flour. Add the eggs, lemon juice, grapefruit juice, and grapefruit zest. Mix well.
  5. Pour the filling over the baked crust. Bake for an additional 20-25 minutes, or until the filling is set.
  6. Let the bars cool completely before cutting into squares. Dust with powdered sugar if desired.
