  • 6 pieces Dried guajillo chiles
  • 2 cloves Garlic peeled
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil

Instructions 

  1. Remove stems and seeds from the guajillo chiles.
  2. In a saucepan, bring water to a boil. Add the chiles and garlic, then simmer for 10 minutes.
  3. Transfer the chiles, garlic, and water to a blender. Add salt and blend until smooth.
  4. Heat olive oil in a saucepan over medium heat. Pour the blended salsa into the pan and simmer for 10 minutes.
  5. Let the salsa cool before serving.
