- 1 large cabbage whole
- 500 g ground beef
- 1 cup cooked rice
- 1 large onion chopped
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 tablespoon tomato paste
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. Boil the cabbage in a large pot until leaves are tender, about 10 minutes. Drain and cool.
3. In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, cooked rice, chopped onion, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper.
4. Carefully peel off cabbage leaves. Place a spoonful of the meat mixture in the center of each leaf and roll up, tucking in the sides.
5. Place rolls seam-side down in a baking dish. Mix beef broth and tomato paste, then pour over the rolls.
6. Cover with foil and bake for 1 hour.
