- ¼ cup fresh lemon juice
- ½ cup extra-virgin olive oil
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- ¼ cup fresh basil, chopped

In a bowl, whisk together lemon juice, Dijon mustard, and minced garlic.
Slowly drizzle in the olive oil while whisking continuously to emulsify.
Stir in the chopped basil and season with salt and pepper to taste.
