Ingredients

  • 4 cups Chicken broth
  • 1 cup Bamboo shoots, julienned
  • 1 cup Mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons Soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 teaspoon Sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon Salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon White pepper to taste

Instructions 

  1. 1. Bring the chicken broth to a boil in a pot.
  2. 2. Add bamboo shoots and mushrooms. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  3. 3. Stir in soy sauce and sesame oil.
  4. 4. Add the cornstarch mixture and stir until the soup thickens.
  5. 5. Season with salt and white pepper to taste.
