  • 2 tablespoon Butter
  • 1 cup Chopped onions
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 lb Morel mushrooms, cleaned and sliced
  • 4 cups Chicken broth
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat.
  2. 2. Add the chopped onions and garlic, and sauté until softened.
  3. 3. Add the morel mushrooms and cook until they release their moisture and start to brown.
  4. 4. Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Let it cook for about 20 minutes.
  5. 5. Stir in the heavy cream and season with salt and pepper to taste. Simmer for another 5 minutes.
  6. 6. Serve hot and enjoy!
