New Mexico Cascabel Chile Sauce Recipe

Main Ingredients
- 6 pieces Cascabel chiles dried
- 2 cups Water
- 2 cloves Garlic minced
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 tablespoon Olive oil
1. Remove stems and seeds from cascabel chiles.
2. In a saucepan, bring water to a boil. Add chiles and simmer for 10 minutes until softened.
3. Transfer chiles and water to a blender. Add garlic, salt, and olive oil. Blend until smooth.
4. Pour sauce back into the saucepan and simmer for another 10 minutes. Adjust seasoning if needed.
