Nopales Con Chiles Poblanos
A traditional Mexican dish featuring nopales (cactus paddles) and poblano chiles.

Main Ingredients
- 4 cups nopales, cleaned and diced
- 2 whole poblano chiles, roasted, peeled, and sliced
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- to taste salt
- to taste pepper
Heat the vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat.
Add the sliced onion and cook until translucent, about 5 minutes.
Add the minced garlic and cook for another minute.
Add the diced nopales and cook for about 10 minutes, until tender.
Add the roasted, peeled, and sliced poblano chiles. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Cook for another 5 minutes.
Serve warm.
