Main Ingredients
- 1 unit fresh pineapple, peeled, cored, and sliced
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- ¼ cup water
- ½ cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 pinch salt
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat.
Add pineapple slices and cook until golden brown on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
In a saucepan, combine sugar and water. Cook over medium heat until sugar dissolves and turns a golden brown.
Remove from heat and carefully whisk in heavy cream, butter, vanilla, and salt until smooth.
Drizzle caramel sauce over pineapple slices and serve warm.
