Instructions 

  1. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add pineapple slices and cook until golden brown on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
  3. In a saucepan, combine sugar and water. Cook over medium heat until sugar dissolves and turns a golden brown.
  4. Remove from heat and carefully whisk in heavy cream, butter, vanilla, and salt until smooth.
  5. Drizzle caramel sauce over pineapple slices and serve warm.
