Ingredients

  • 2 cups pearl onions peeled
  • 1 cup white vinegar
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
  • 1 teaspoon black peppercorns
  • 2 pcs bay leaves

Instructions 

  1. In a saucepan, combine vinegar, water, sugar, salt, mustard seeds, peppercorns, and bay leaves. Bring to a boil.
  2. Add peeled pearl onions to the boiling mixture. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat and let cool. Transfer onions and liquid to a jar. Refrigerate for at least 24 hours before serving.
