Pork And Lotus Root Soup Recipe

Main Ingredients
- 500 g Pork ribs
- 300 g Lotus root peeled and sliced
- 1 Carrot peeled and sliced
- 2 cloves Garlic minced
- 1 piece Ginger sliced
- 1 tablespoon Soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon Salt to taste
- 1 teaspoon Pepper to taste
- 6 cups Water
1. In a large pot, bring water to a boil. Add pork ribs and blanch for 5 minutes. Drain and set aside.
2. In the same pot, add 6 cups of water, blanched pork ribs, lotus root, carrot, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, salt, and pepper.
3. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and simmer for 1 hour or until pork is tender.
4. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper if needed. Serve hot.
