Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 500 g Pork ribs
  • 300 g Lotus root peeled and sliced
  • 1 Carrot peeled and sliced
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 piece Ginger sliced
  • 1 tablespoon Soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper to taste
  • 6 cups Water

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a large pot, bring water to a boil. Add pork ribs and blanch for 5 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  2. 2. In the same pot, add 6 cups of water, blanched pork ribs, lotus root, carrot, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, salt, and pepper.
  3. 3. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and simmer for 1 hour or until pork is tender.
  4. 4. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper if needed. Serve hot.
