Main Ingredients
- 1 lb Tomatillos husked and rinsed
- 1 Onion quartered
- 2 cloves Garlic peeled
- 1 Jalapeño stemmed
- 0.5 cup Cilantro chopped
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 Lime juiced
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
Place tomatillos, onion, garlic, and jalapeño on a baking sheet.
Roast in the oven for 20 minutes or until tomatillos are soft and slightly charred.
Transfer roasted vegetables to a blender. Add cilantro, salt, and lime juice.
Blend until smooth. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
Serve with tortilla chips or as a topping for your favorite dishes.
