Sinaloa Style Beer Battered Fish Tacos Recipe

- 1 lb white fish fillets cut into strips
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup beer preferably Mexican lager
- 8 pieces corn tortillas warmed
- 2 cups shredded cabbage
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup salsa
- 1 cup cilantro chopped
- 1 unit lime cut into wedges
In a mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually whisk in beer until smooth.
Heat oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat.
Dip fish strips into the batter, then fry until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side. Drain on paper towels.
Assemble tacos by placing fish on tortillas, then topping with cabbage, sour cream, salsa, cilantro, and a squeeze of lime.
