Ingredients

  • 1 cup Taro, grated
  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1 large Egg
  • 2 tablespoon Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 2 tablespoon Vegetable oil for cooking

Instructions 

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  2. In another bowl, mix the grated taro, milk, and egg until well combined.
  3. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  4. Heat a frying pan over medium heat and add a bit of vegetable oil.
  5. Pour ¼ cup of batter onto the pan for each pancake. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook until golden brown.
  6. Serve warm with your favorite toppings.
