Instructions
In a saucepan, combine the squash puree, apple cider, maple syrup, cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger. Heat over medium heat until warm.
Remove from heat and strain the mixture into a blender. Blend until smooth.
If using bourbon, add it to the blender and blend again until combined.
Pour into glasses and serve warm.
